Bamboo Forest Zazen Experience

A quiet bamboo forest is the perfect environment for concentration, calming our minds and listening to ourselves.

Schedule

  • Reception.

    Please arrive before your reservation time and finish checking in. Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception.

  • Lecture.

    Zazen is the basic Zen Buddhist practice to unify the mind by sitting in a correct posture. We sit with the belief that we should look at the self, and not try to let worldly thoughts arise or disappear.

  • Move to a bamboo forest.

    We will move to a bamboo forest near the temple. On a rainy day, it will be inside the temple.

  • Zazen experience.

    Remember the lecture and then focus on your Zazen practice. The quiet bamboo forest is the perfect environment for concentration and listening to yourself.

  • End of program.
