The Gero Onsen Gassho-mura Village will be specially illuminated during the autumn foliage season.
Enjoy the private rental of Odo House, built in the gassho-zukuri style, where you can savor the autumn foliage, sample light snacks like Gohei-mochi rice cakes, and partake in a sake tasting.

Zazen meditation
Zazen is a meditation practice involving sitting quietly, focusing the mind through deep breathing, engaging in self-observation, and seeking enlightenment.
It contributes to both mental and physical health by relieving stress and improving sleep quality.
The specially lit Ryukohkutsu, a dry landscape garden, offers a unique zazen experience in a fantastical atmosphere.

5:00 PM: Meet in the hotel lobby
We will pick you up at the hotel where you are staying. Please present your My Page reservation screen at reception.
Enter Gero Onsen Gassho-mura Village
Take in the beautiful autumn scenery with a light meal and sake tasting.
6:00 PM: Depart Gero Onsen Gassho-mura Village by taxi to Gero Onsen Onsenji Temple (approximately 5 minutes)
Admire the autumn foliage illumination at Io Reizan Onsenji Temple in Gero Onsen. Experience zazen meditation in front of Ryukohkutsu, a dry landscape garden inside the historic Kikusui-so, and enjoy the traditional performing arts "Geigi" in the main hall.
Dinner at 7:30 PM → Tea ceremony experience
Dinner will feature local cuisine from the Hida region. Enjoy a tea ceremony experience in a room on the second floor of the historic Kikusui-so, where you can also appreciate the autumn foliage illumination.
We will drop you off at your hotel at 9:30 PM and then disband at 9:40 PM
Depart from Io Reizan Onsenji Temple in Gero Onsen, transfer to the hotel, and then disband.
