Enjoy a Peach Flower Afternoon Tea in a kimono at a storehouse nationally registered as Tangible Cultural Property

The menu combines sweets inspired by the gorgeous peach blossoms with local "Sashima tea," creating a luxurious experience that lets you savor the essence of spring with both your eyes and taste buds. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea unique to Koga City in a historic building nationally designated as a Tangible Cultural Property.

Complete kimono set rental and dressing included

Experience professional kimono dressing by an award-winning expert, recognized in prestigious competitions like the Kimono Skills Olympics.

A taxi will be provided to transport you from the dressing venue.

As crowds are expected during the Peach Blossom Festival, a round-trip taxi ride to Koga Kubo Park is an easy way to get there and back.

Matcha (powdered green tea) experience in Japan's largest peach blossom garden

Visitors can enjoy an authentic matcha experience in a setting inspired by the peach blossom garden.

Walking around Koga city with a local guide

During the Edo period (1603 - 1868), Koga thrived as a post town, and even today, you can glimpse its historical charm through the preserved samurai residences, temples, and shrines. Why not take a stroll with a guide? An original map is included.


Schedule

  • 9:20 AM - 11:00 AM: Meet at Koga Station, register, and take a walk around the city

    Please show the My Page reservation screen to the Koga Tourism Association staff at the reception desk located in front of the Koga Tourist Information Center, just outside the ticket gates of Koga Station.

  • 11:00 AM - 12:10 PM: Kimono selection / Dressing

    After getting changed at "Oyasumi-dokoro Sakacho", we will take a taxi to the Peach Blossom Festival venue in Koga Kubo Park.

  • 12:10 PM - 1:50 PM: View the Peach Blossom Festival and take part in a matcha experience at Koga Kubo Park

    Be sure to take a photo in your kimono against the perfect spring backdrop of 1,700 flowering peach blossom trees as a memento of your trip. If you get hungry, sample the local delicacies at the food stalls inside the venue!
    Head to Sakacho with ease by taxi.

  • 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Enjoy Peach Flower Afternoon Tea at Oyasumi-dokoro Sakacho

    Enjoy afternoon tea, created by the owners of Koga's Japanese confectionery shops, western confectionery shops, bakeries, and cafes, paired with Sashima tea.

  • 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Change your clothes at the end of the activity

    The activity will end once you have changed back into your own clothes at Oyasumi-dokoro Sakacho (around 4:00 PM)

• When wearing a kimono, please be sure to wear your own undergarments (owith a wide neckline)
• Hair and makeup are not included, so those with long hair should tie it up beforehand.
• Lunch is not included. Afternoon tea will start around 2:00 PM, so please have a light meal at the Peach Festival venue.
• The Peach Flower Afternoon Tea uses ingredients that may contain these 8 specified ingredients—shrimp, crab, walnuts, wheat, buckwheat, eggs, milk, and peanuts. Among these, the allergens present in this menu are shrimp, wheat, eggs, milk, and peanuts.
We are unable to accommodate individual requests, so if you have food allergies, we kindly ask that you carefully manage your food intake.

[Cancellation Policy]
• The event may be canceled for safety reasons due to bad weather, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances. In that case, WAmazing Play's customer support or the organizer will contact you at the emergency contact provided. Please make sure to check your email and phone for updates on the day of the event. (Notifications are typically sent after 3:00 PM, one day before the event.)
