Features of Hitoyoshi Onsen
Hitoyoshi is a city that has been called the "Little Kyoto of Kyushu". The hot spring resorts of Hitoyoshi Onsen are scattered along the Kuma River, which runs east to west through the city. For the thrill seekers, Kuma river rafting is a very popular activity whrere you can raft in one of the three fastest rivers in Japan. Hitoyoshi Onsen is only 2 and a half hours away from Hakata Station in Fukuoka and Kumamoto Airport.
