Ehime Prefecture is a region dotted with wonderful places to take pictures, from the magnificent cycling route of the Shimanami Kaido, to the traditional atsmosphere of Dōgo Onsen. It is in Ehime where you can find the outstanding handmade Imabari towels; these towels make an ideal souvenier from the region. Popular dishes from the region include local Ehime favorite Tai-meshi (sea bream in rice); and Jakoten (a food made from ground fish). Kirinomori Daifuku is a fancy sweet made with local tea. It is sold online but hard to get hold of since it can only be onbtained through a draw. For those who want to sample this sweet, it is best to go there in-person.
