Activity

Sightseeing on Taketomijima and the nearby ocean by bus and glass bottom boat ♪

Bus sightseeing will take you to the beach and local community. The glass-bottom boat tours the ocean around Taketomijima.

Up close to mangroves!

Enjoy the subtropical atmosphere of the Nakama River, flowing through a mangrove forest.

A buffalo cart takes you through the tidal flats to Yubu Island amidst scenery familiar from posters and calendars.

Subtropical flowers and butterflies are highlights of the Yubujima Botanical Garden.

  • 9:10 Meeting

    Please come to the Ishigaki Island Remote Island Terminal Anei Kanko Reception and present the reservation screen from My Page.

  • Take the boat for Taketomijima departing Ishigaki Port at 9:30, for sightseeing on Taketomijima

    Arrive at Taketomi Port after about 15 minutes, board the glass boat at 11:50 after sightseeing by bus

  • Walk from Ishigaki Port to the dinner. Meet back at the port by 12:50

    Anei Kanko staff will show you to the hotel where you will eat, which is about 2 minutes on foot. Please return to the port on your own to meet back up

  • Depart Ishigaki Port at 13:00. Departure for sightseeing in Iriomotejima and Yubujima

    Arrive at Ohara Port after about 45 minutes, take a tour of Nakama River for about 1 hour, and travel to Yubu Island by water buffalo cart.

    Arrive at Ishigaki around 17:55

・ As a general rule, children under 6 years old will be treated as free of charge per adult (excluding lunch), but a separate child fee will be charged for 2 children.
・ The process may change depending on the ebb and flow of the tide.
・ Departure / return time, island tour order, and lunch location may change depending on local conditions.
・ English support is available up to the reception desk on Ishigaki Island, but only Japanese is available thereafter.
