Ancient Japanese traditional repair methods!

Do you know about "Kintsugi"? "Kintsugi" is an ancient Japanese repair method in which chipped or broken containers are joined with lacquer and beautifully decorated with gold or silver powder.

Traditional Kominka style house+Beautiful rural Satoyama landscape+Experience Japanese culture through learning traditional kintsugi techniques!

"urujyu" offers a simple and natural kintsugi experience. We repair utensils using natural materials that return to their natural state as well as traditional techniques and tools. Spend your own quiet kintsugi time in a traditional house surrounded by the rural landscape of Miyama.

Come learn traditional kintsugi techniques using natural materials and feel the benefits of living with nature.

"Urujyu,” in addition to growing lacquer trees, also takes advantage of the satoyama environment to produce various materials used for the kintsugi, such as cotton and wheat. During the kintsugi experience, you can also learn about how the materials are produced.

After the experience, enjoy home-brewed tea and baked goods made from home-grown buckwheat flour, depending on the season.
