Activity

World Heritage Sites in Ikaruga, including Horyu-ji Temple, Hoki-ji Temple, and the Horin-ji Temple (related to Prince Shotoku) in one tour.

Visitors can enjoy not only looking around the temple but also the time spent on the road as an activity.

Safe even for first-timers! Easy operation, safety first!

Operating a 50cc ATV is very easy, even for first-timers. Before departure, you will watch a video on how to operate the quad and practice properly.

We will also have time for photos and videos.

You can take pictures of the temple and, in autumn, cosmos flowers to capture lasting memories.

The quads are open for a comfortable ride.

A roof is provided to protect you from the sun, but you can feel the wind and run comfortably.

They will also explain about the temple and turn you into a temple master ♪

At each temple, we will explain about the temple to you. By the time you leave, you will be a Shotoku Taishi connoisseur!

  • Meet Up / Reception *① Please note that when meeting at JR Horyuji Station's North Exit, the pick-up car will depart 10 minutes after the scheduled time. Please don't be late.

    Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception desk. Check your international driver's license and passport, fill out the consent form and watch the operating instruction video.

    The tour will include Horin-ji Temple, Hoki-ji Temple, and Horyu-ji Temple.

  • End of the activity / Dismissal

    We will return to the departure point (Nara Ikaruga Tourism Waikaru) and hand over the photos via airdrop/email before finishing the activity.

[Precautions]
- A driver's license is required to participate in the tour. Foreigners must remember to get an international driver's license valid in Japan.
- ATVs are single-seater vehicles, and children and other non-licensed passengers are not allowed to ride them.
- In the event of extremely bad weather conditions such as typhoons, the tour may be canceled for the safety of our guests. In such cases, WAmazing Play customer support will contact your emergency number after 3 PM the day before the tour.
If the tour is canceled on the day of the event due to reasons such as weather conditions, the operator will contact your emergency number.

[About Insurance]
We provide car insurance for all vehicles (mini-jeeps and karts). The insurance fee is included in the entry fee.

- Compensation for injury to persons and property: Unlimited
- Personal injury coverage: JPY 30 million
