Activity

The instructor is a famous cosplayer!

Usagi Gogatsu, a cosplayer who is active at the forefront of the industry, creating official costumes for numerous events, will give a lecture and hold a workshop.

Create a "shell" using a cosplay board

This workshop will focus on modeling, which is said to be the most difficult aspect to learn in cosplay costume-making. You will be able to learn the various techniques necessary for shaping, such as cutting and carving.

Participants will receive a gas mask and gloves.

The gas mask and gloves used during the costume-making activity can be taken home as souvenirs. The colorful masks look great in photos.

Includes admission ticket to Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER, an observation deck at the heart of Nagoya

Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER is a historic land tower in Nagoya that has been listed as a national Tangible Cultural Property. After the activity, we recommend visiting the observation deck where you can get a panoramic view of Nagoya and take a commemorative photo with the shell you created. *Admission is only possible on the day of the activity.

Schedule

  • 9:30 AM: Reception is at the entrance of the World Cosplay Summit Museum on the 3rd floor of Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER

    Please present the reservation screen on My Page at the time of reception. After checking in, we will guide you to the activity venue (about a 5-minute walk).

  • 10:00 AM Start of the cosplay accessory-making activity

    You will experience the entire process of cutting out boards, pasting them together, carving them out, and applying fabric. There will be a 45-minute lunch break in the middle (bento lunch box included).

  • 3:30 PM End of Activity

    You can take home the shell you created, as well as the gas mask and gloves used during the activity.

  • Make sure to visit the Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER observation deck on the day of the activity.

    Please present your My Page reservation screen at the information desk on the 3rd floor of Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER. No re-entry is allowed.
