Pay attention to the component called "Nobiletin" found in the peel of the Shikuwasa limes! It contains several to dozens of times more Nobiletin than yuzu.

There are various effects that have been attracting attention, such as controlling blood sugar levels. Schedule

  • Reception at Ogimi Roadside Station Yambaru-no-mori Visitor Center

    Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception desk.

  • Transfer (about 15 minutes)

    We will travel to the Shikuwasa Farm by car.

  • Harvesting (about 1 hour)

    We will sample freshly harvested Shikuwasa limes from the farm.

  • End of activity

    When you're leaving, we will provide you with recipes and Shikuwasa lime souvenirs. Please consider purchasing processed Shikuwasa products as well.

Regarding the harvest of Shikuwasa, the type varies depending on the season. From late September to early November, you can enjoy "Aogiri Shikuwasa," and from mid-November to early February, you can savor "Fruit Shikuwasa."
