A private taxi will take you to your destination, so you can go see the snow monkeys without getting lost.

Winter clothing and snow boots rental included

After arriving at Iiyama Station, we will lend you winter clothing and snow boots at the reception area, so even those who are not prepared for snowy mountains can participate with confidence.

Enjoy local delicacies on a stroll through the hot spring resort area

In the hot spring resort area, there are local delicacies such as local beer from Tamamura Honten, onsen manju buns, and onsen tamago (hot spring eggs) which can be savored casually while walking around.

  • Meet up / Reception

    Please come to the Shinetsu-Shizenkyo Activity Center located at Iiyama Station. Please present the reservation screen on My Page at the time of reception.

  • Change clothes and take the taxi

    After changing into winter clothing and listening to a brief explanation of the day's flow, we will board a taxi and head to Yudanaka Station.

  • Stroll through Jigokudani Yaen-koen (Wild Snow Monkey Park)

    After getting off the taxi at the Jigokudani Yaen-koen (Wild Snow Monkey Park) , you can walk around freely. It takes about 30 minutes to walk from the entrance to the snow monkey area.

  • Stroll around Yudanaka/Shibu Onsen Town

    Enjoy a local beer at Tamamura Honten, and local delicacies such as onsen manju buns. (*Payment to be made on site on the day of the tour.)

  • Take a taxi to Iiyama Station

    Take a taxi and return to Iiyama Station. Rental items will be returned and the tour will end.

[About Jigokudani Yaen-koen (Wild Snow Monkey Park) ]
・Bathing in hot springs is an everyday routine for the monkeys in Jigokudani Yaen-koen (Wild Snow Monkey Park). This does not mean that the monkeys are always in a hot spring all year round.
・Due to the location, there are slopes, steps, and stairs, so wheelchairs, carts, etc. cannot be used.
・If you are traveling with small children, please do not leave them unattended.
・Please refrain from entering the park after drinking alcohol.
・Insects such as venomous snakes and bees, and plants with thorns and venom also inhabit the area. Please be careful.
・Please do not give food to Japanese macaques or wild animals.
・Please refrain from eating and drinking outdoors, even outside of Jigokudani Yaen-koen (Wild Snow Monkey Park) facilities.
・Use of selfie sticks is prohibited.
・We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you can safely and happily observe the Japanese macaques and the nature of Jigokudani Yaen-koen (Wild Snow Monkey Park).
