Schedule

  • Gather at the forge./Reception

You can experience traditional swordsmithing under the guidance of a craftsman in a swordsmith's workshop certified by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception.

  • Experience sword making

The process is to take the steel used for Japanese swords, beat the steel with a hammer to heat it and form it into a knife, then harden it to give it a unique blade pattern, then, finally, to polish it. The god of blacksmithing is enshrined in the forge hall. Experience the work of a swordsmith who concentrates his spirit and pours his soul into it. This includes handling blades and working with fire.
