Terms of Use for the Shiga Kogen Yakebitaiyama Ski Area Season Pass

Regarding Cancellations After Purchase:
(1) Cancellations and refunds will not be accepted regardless of the reason after your application has been processed. This includes for personal convenience or due to ski resort circumstances (events, snowfall, accumulated snow, course conditions, etc.), operating areas, periods, hours, and facilities.
(2) Cancellations will not be processed at the ski resort's lift pass counter.

Usage instructions:
(1) You will be issued with a card key (IC card lift pass) at the ski resort's lift pass counter.
(2) Seniors and Middle/High school students must present a valid ID with their date of birth when exchanging their lift pass.
(3) For verification purposes, a camera will be used to compare the photo registered on the lift pass with the individual as they pass through the gate.
(4) This pass is only valid at the Shiga Kogen Yakebitaiyama Ski Area.
(5) The opening and closing dates are tentative and may change due to snowfall conditions or unfavorable slope conditions.

Prohibition of Transfer and Unauthorized Use:
(1) This pass is valid only for the purchaser and cannot be transferred to family members or others under any circumstances.
(2) If the pass is found to be transferred, lent, or used improperly, it will be confiscated and damages will be sought. In accordance with the Ropeway Transportation Rules and Regulations, a surcharge of 3 times the regular fare will be charged for each day of unauthorized use.

Regarding Reissuance:
Season passes will be reissued if the data on the pass becomes corrupted. Please note that a reissurance fee of JPY 135 will be charged if the IC card lift pass is damaged due to the customer's own negligence.

Regarding Loss of the Pass:
Please inform the resort immediately in the event that you lose your season pass. Please present a form of identification (such as a driver's licence) and your ID card lift pass number to confirm your identity so that the pass can be restricted. A reissuance fee of JPY 1,000 will be charged.

Additional Terms and Conditions:
Please abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the ski resort and use the facilities safely. Skiing outside designated courses or in restricted areas is strictly prohibited. If you are found to be violating any rules or engaging in dangerous behavior, you may be denied further access to the facilities.
