Uses domestically sourced two-row barley. The Koji (malted rice) is meticulously prepared in a Morobuta (a small box for making malt), while both the primary and secondary stages of fermentation take place in Kametsubo pots. The resulting unblended shochu is then distilled in a traditional wooden barrel distiller and aged. This process brings out the rich, natural flavor of barley and imbues the shochu with a deep flavor that comes from aging. Alcohol Content: 25% Brewery Location: Kagoshima Prefecture
