After arriving in Japan, complete identity verification at your chosen locker or counter and receive your items.
After pickup, register your refund destination and complete customs confirmation at a tax-free procedure terminal at the airport before leaving Japan. After you return home, the consumption-tax-equivalent amount* will be refunded using your chosen method.
*The refund amount is the consumption-tax-equivalent amount minus the refund fee.

This method lets you verify your identity and receive your items at a designated locker at an airport or station after arrival.
After the new tax exemption system starts in November 2026, you must purchase JPY 5,000 (excl. tax) or more per seller to receive tax exemption.
Specify a locker when ordering
Select a pickup location such as an airport or station.
Go to the locker and pick up your items
Display the pickup QR code from the order details screen, verify your identity with your passport and landing permission, and receive your items.
This is the proof issued when a foreign national passes immigration inspection at a Japanese airport or port and is officially permitted to enter (land in) Japan.
It is usually issued in the form of a sticker (stamp) affixed to your passport.

View the locker pickup guideAfter pickup, register your refund destination and complete customs confirmation at a tax-free procedure terminal at the airport before leaving Japan. After you return home, the consumption tax amount* is refunded via the method you specify. * We refund the consumption tax amount minus the refund fee.
After receiving your items, go to "Proceed to refund" on the order details screen to register your refund destination.
Scan your passport at a tax-free procedure terminal at the airport to receive customs export confirmation (customs confirmation).
After customs confirmation, the refund is automatically sent to your registered method. Travelers generally do not need to take any additional "application" steps.
