Choose items from the website or app
Specify your desired pickup location and pickup date on the order screen. You can pick up at a convenient time within the pickup period.
Please speak to the staff at the facility's front desk or counter. Show the staff your pickup QR code, Visit Japan Web tax-free QR code, passport, and landing permit to receive your items. * Registration of your tax-free QR code on Visit Japan Web in advance is required.

After pickup is complete, guidance for the refund procedure will appear on the order details screen, so register your refund details following the guidance
Complete customs confirmation at a tax-free procedure terminal at the airport before leaving Japan. After you return home, the consumption tax amount is refunded via the method you specify. * Customs confirmation must be done before checking in your baggage, with all items in hand. * We refund the consumption tax amount minus the refund fee.

If the pickup date and time passes, your order will be cancelled and the items will be collected. Please be sure to pick them up at the specified date and time.
Pickup is only possible within the facility's operating hours. For late-night or early-morning check-ins, it may be handled the next day. If the pickup deadline passes, the items will be collected. Please specify a pickup date with plenty of leeway in your travel schedule.
With in-person pickup, you can meet the tax-free condition using the combined total across multiple sellers.
From November 2026, tax exemption will change to a "refund system." At purchase you pay the tax-included price, and after customs confirmation at departure, the consumption tax amount minus the refund fee is refunded. After the new tax-free system starts in November 2026, tax exemption applies if you purchase 5,000 yen (excl. tax) or more in total across multiple sellers.
You pay tax-inclusive prices at purchase, and the consumption-tax-equivalent amount is refunded after departure confirmation.
