Activity
Leather craft activity using deer and wild boar skins!
This is a leather craft activity using the skins of deer and wild boars hunted to prevent ruining crops. You will make an original key chain to take home.
You can actually see and touch a variety of furs, including "tanuki" raccoons and foxes, and see the actual box traps that are set in the mountains!
Learn from female hunters the value of life and and the process of making leather goods.
A full, hands-on, half-day tour!
You can participate in the session without bringing anything because all the necessary tools are available for rent.
You won't mistake where to get off the bus because Toriihara Fureai no Yakata is the last stop.
This agriculture and forestry goods store is situated close to Toriihara Park, a Prefectural Nature Park with a view of Lake Miyagase. A café and a training room are also available for visitors to use, and a variety of local agricultural and forestry products, processed goods, and handicrafts are for sale. Just taking a leisurely stroll around the area is fun.

Participants will have the opportunity to try leather craftwork using the skins of deer and wild boar.

Please take the 3:40 PM bus to Hashimoto Station if you're traveling by bus.
