Activity

Make seasonal "wagashi" Japanese sweets in Kyoto

Every month, we create sweets in different seasonal shapes, such as cherry blossoms in the spring, maple leaves in the summer, autumn leaves in the fall, and plum blossoms in the winter.

Instructions are given in a kind and thorough manner by master wagashi confectioners.

You can create sweets in the shapes of plums, cherry blossoms, and chrysanthemums by learning how to use a wooden triangle stick. You can arrive without any supplies and take a break from sightseeing; tenugui hand towels and other necessities are provided.

Make amazing and long-lasting memories in Kyoto.

You can photograph your homemade wagashi sweets to post it on social media. While working, you are free to take pictures and videos.
