Daruma No Furusato Daimonya is home to a traditional craftsman who was awarded the Yellow Ribbon Medal of Honor by the Japanese government. You can experience painting a mustache on a Daruma doll!
Make an original Daruma doll!
Learn the tradition of drawing "eyebrows" and a "mustache" on Daruma dolls and create your own original Daruma doll.
There are many Daruma designs! Find your favorite one!
Of course there is the traditional red, but colorful gradations, as well as seasonal designs, are very popular these days.
There is also a special gift to take ome for those who paint a Daruma doll!
We will present you with a picture postcard for "Shingan Joju" (Granting of wishes) supervised by "Chihiro," a fifth-generation Daruma craftsman, and "Shin'en," a female priest from Enpukuji Temple who studied art in college.
If you are praying to pass your exams for school, we recommend that you place the postcard on your study desk!
You can take your painted Daruma doll home with you. After returning home, you can display your Daruma doll! You can display it anywhere as long as you handle it with care.

Choose the Daruma of your choice. Choose from any of the options, from the traditional red color to the latest gradation color options. *For dolls other than the red Daruma (12cm), the difference must be paid on-site.

Paint
After receiving a lecture and practicing on paper, the students will paint the mustache into the Daruma doll. It is more important to put your feelings into it than to make it beautiful.
Commemorative photo
A commemorative photo will be taken together with the completed Daruma doll. Daruma dolls that have been painted can be taken home on the day of the event.

- Daruma No Furusato Daimonya offers Daruma doll-painting activities with the aim of teaching people about the art of Daruma. However, we do not allow visitors who fail to understand the purpose and appropriate atmosphere of this activity to participate including:

2. Those who are found to disturb and violate public order and customs

[Special Gift]
