Activity
A convenient and comfortable way to go around the city is by electric bicycle!
The route is simple for beginners to bike because there aren't many traffic lights or changes in elevation. For those who are not confident in their level of physical fitness, electric mountain bikes are available.
Enjoy a magical cityscape that you cannot experience by car!
The cycling route is filled with great spots to take pictures, such as "Miyama's thatched-roof village" (Kayabuki no Sato), an iconic spot where many thatched roofs still survive and visitors can see authentic Japanese landscapes!
Come empty-handed, there is no need to prepare for lunch or a picnic!
Baskets and picnic blankets are available for rent. No preparation is required.

Schedule
Reception at Kyoto Tamba Kogen Quasi-National Park Visitor Center. Please sign in between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM.
Please present the My Page reservation screen at reception.
Rent E-bike
We will show you how to ride an E-bike and Japanese traffic rules. We also introduce recommended photo spots and picnic areas on the cycling course.
Go cycling to Miyama for sightseeing
The journey from the meeting location to the lunch location you chose when making the reservation will be on your own.
Enjoy a picnic lunch with plenty of local ingredients
Pick up your picnic supplies when you get to the restaurant, then leave for a picnic. Within walking distance of each restaurant, enjoy your lunch at a scenic picnic area.
Please return picnic set by 3:00 PM and return to the Visitor Center by 5:00 PM
Please bring back your picnic basket after you've finished eating. Return the E-bike after cycling back to the visitor center, and you will be dismissed.

Notes
The activity will be cancelled if a heavy rain or storm warning is issued for Nantan City by 10:00 AM on the day before the tour, or if there is an 80% or greater chance of precipitation in Miyama Town on the following day. In this case, the operator will contact your emergency contact number.
[Lunch menus at each restaurant]
1) Kanbei: Lunch featuring rice balls and seasonal tempura, as well as a variety of Miyama ingredients. (about 15 minutes by bicycle from the meeting place)
2) Ewa Land: Rice burgers made with homemade rice and a menu featuring seasonal ingredients. (50 minutes by bicycle from the meeting place)
