Activity

Surfing school organized by an instructor at International Surfing Association (ISA)

The staff at Hi-Suy includes instructors who are certified by the International Surfing Association and Nippon Surfing Association. Guaranteed safe and clear lessons by highly skilled instructors. The shop is located right next to a surfing spot and is well equipped, including heated showers, changing rooms, and free parking.

Free photos and pick-up service. 1-on-1 course is available

You are welcome to participate in all courses by yourself. If you want to try surfing, but you are alone, please come and join us. The friendly staff will help you. Many solo surfers have a great time here. Enjoy surfing in the beautiful ocean of Okinawa with us. Free hotel pickup service is also available.

A wide selection of surfboard rentals

A wide range of rental boards are available, from shortboards to funboards to longboards for all levels of surfers, from beginner to advanced.

Schedule

  • Arrive at the shop

    Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception.
    Arrive at the shop in the morning. (Free shuttle service is also available from the hotel. Please contact us for details.) On this trip to Okinawa, join Hi-Suy's surfing school. Fill out your condition and health on the medical history form on the day. Surfboard rental and clothes are included in the price, so all you need to bring is your swimsuit and bath towel. For more information on what to bring, please refer to the Q&A page. The sun is very strong in Okinawa so be sure to apply sunscreen.

  • Land lesson

    Learn basic techniques such as how to paddle, push through waves, avoiding dangerous situations etc. using a surfboard. Listen carefully to the instructor's explanation. Stretch and warm up.

  • Start surfing

    Start surfing using a longboard! The instructor will guide you to make sure you relax and get used to the waves and the surfboard.

  • Ride the waves

    The instructor will call out, "1, 2, 3!," for your first take-off. Riding a wave for the first time is a thrilling experience, even if unbalanced. Enjoy learning and improving.

  • End of the program

    At the end of the course, you will experience the joy of standing on a surfboard on the waves. The program ends after changing clothes. Free pick-up service to and from the hotel is also available (please inquire for the pickup route).
