Activity
Established in 1940, the first long-standing winery in Saitama Prefecture has been awarded the gold prize at the Japan Wine Competition for four consecutive years.
Experience the renowned Chichibu wine, hailed as the "Taste of Bordeaux" by a French priest in 1959; you can both sample the wine and explore the winery. Wine purchases are also an option, including matured vintage wines (from 2002 onwards) rarely found in the market.
We offer a tasting of Sommelier-selected wines accompanied by a selection of appetizers.
You can sample 5-6 sommelier-recommended wines, customizable to your preferences. There may even be expensive wines! We will also serve appetizers to accompany each wine.
When you return to Chichibu, we recommend exploring local specialties through a food walk!
Connecting Chichibu Station (Chichibu Railway) and Seibu-Chichibu Station (Seibu Railway), Bamba-dori Street is a haven of Chichibu's local delicacies. Discover an array of nostalgic shops, light meal options, and sweets. Consider enjoying Chichibu horumon (offals) paired with local beer during the day!
There are also hot spring facilities in front of Seibu-Chichibu Station!
Before heading back from Chichibu, consider unwinding at the Matsuri no Yu hot springs located in front of Seibu-Chichibu Station. This unique hot spring facility, designed with a festival concept, not only provides rejuvenating hot springs but also features a food court and souvenir corner for a comprehensive activity.

Our staff will give you a tour of Saitama Prefecture's first long-established winery, founded in 1940.
Wine tasting (with appetizers)
After the winery tour, you will have the opportunity to taste award-winning wines from various competitions, accompanied by light appetizers.
End of activity
Once the tasting is finished, the activity will come to an end. Please enjoy sightseeing in Chichibu.
