You can learn the art of weaving directly from skilled weavers who have undergone technical training.
Express your own Ishigaki Sea with Yaeyama Minsah-ori
Warp threads containing 180 recycled yarns and weft threads are spun to create your own beautiful Ishigaki Island beach, sea, and sky on a loom.

Weavers will teach you carefully.
Relax at the café near the Kogei Museum
After the experience, it will take about 30 minutes for us to give you the finished product. A drink will be served at the café nearby while you wait.

Notes
• Only two weaving machines are available. If there are three or more people participating, the experience will need to be split into two sessions, which will add approximately 20 minutes to the total time. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
It takes approximately 25 minutes from Ishigaki Airport by car. Please take a cab or rental car to get here.
It is also accessible by bus from Ishigaki Airport.
Take Azuma Unyu Bus Line [10] bound for Airport Line/Bus Terminal (Ishigaki City) via JAL Yaeyama ANA Intercontinental → Get off at Minsah Kogeikan-mae bus stop.
