Activity
Create an one-of-a-kind bamboo lantern
Cut the bamboo yourself, decide on a design, drill holes with a dedicated drill, and create your lantern.
The bamboo grove is integrated with traditional Japanese houses
The workshop is located inside the bamboo grove, where the bamboo trees were planted to preserve traditional Japanese architecture. The bamboo from the forest is utilized in the production process.
Create bamboo plates to use for your meal along with bamboo lanterns
We serve meals using plenty of vegetables on bamboo plates and bamboo ware that you made yourself.
Vegan and vegetarian-friendly meals are available
As it is a restaurant operated by vegetable farmers, we can accommodate vegan and vegetarian diets (Muslim-friendly options are also available).
The items you make can be taken home
Please make sure to take home the bamboo lanterns, bamboo plates, and bamboo ware that you have created as souvenirs of your journey!
Schedule
(1) Reception
Please come to the Farmhouse Restaurant Nanairo and present the reservation screen on My Page.
(2) Explanation of bamboo lantern making
After receiving a lecture on how to use a drill, you will proceed to drill holes using a dedicated drill.
(3) Make bamboo lanterns *If the meal is served first, the bamboo plates will be made first.
You will choose the bamboo yourself and proceed with cutting and crafting.
(4) Create bamboo plates and bamboo ware
Once the bamboo lanterns are made, we will also make bamboo plates and bamboo ware to be used for your meal.
(5) Enjoy your meal at Farmhouse Restaurant Nanairo
Please enjoy a vegetable-centric meal using the bamboo plates and bamboo ware you have created.

Summer: Wear long-sleeved shirts and pants to protect yourself from mosquitoes. It is also recommended to wear shoes that cover your feet (sandals are not recommended). It is also advisable to bring insect repellent spray.

If you are more than 30 minutes late from the start time, there is a possibility that you will start with the next group.
[Access Information]
• The bus ride from Omiya Station takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Please allow plenty of time for your trip, as there may be delays due to road conditions.
(1) Omiya Station West Exit: Take a bus bound for LaLaport Fujimi (about 16 minutes) from bus stop 1 → Get off at Iida-Shinden bus stop → 2 minutes walk
*Please be careful not to miss the bus as there are few services. Also, there is a possibility of schedule changes, so please verify them yourself.

Weekdays: 10:14 AM, 11:28 AM, 12:16 PM
Weekends & Public Holidays: 10:10 AM, 11:15 AM, 12:44 PM
(2) After getting off at the Iida-Shinden bus stop, please see [here] for a map to the venue. There is a vinyl house in front of you, walk along that road and you will come out behind the restaurant)

•Beverages can be ordered separately at the restaurant (coffee, tea, homemade enzyme juice, etc.).
•You can also bring your own beverages, but please note that cans, PET bottles, and other garbage must be taken home with you.
•The meals are vegetable-centric, but if you prefer vegan or vegetarian options, please inform us in advance through the additional information field.

•Please note that the event may be canceled after the reservation is made due to inclement weather or natural disasters. In such cases, WAmazing Play's customer support will contact you by e-mail after 2:00 PM on the day before the event.
