Change into a Shinto priest's costume (inside the Nohi Gokoku Shrine)
First, you will change into a Shinto priest's costume to experience the traditional Shinto rituals at the shrine.
Make Tamagushi, transcribe Shinto rituals (inside the Nohi Gokoku Shrine)
<Making Tamagushi> Tamagushi is an item used in Shinto rituals and is offered to the deity with wishes. It is made by cutting incisions in numerical order with a cutter and folding them in order to create "shide" (paper streamers). The "shide" is then tied with a half-knot to a branch of the sacred sakaki tree. <Transcribing Shinto Rituals> This is intended for the priest to chant, containing written wishes to the deity on paper. All characters are written in Kanji using a brush.
Shrine visitation method (1) Enter and proceed (2) Perform purification ritual (3) Recite Shinto prayers (inside the Nohi Gokoku Shrine)
<(1) Enter and proceed> After following the guiding priest, proceed to the main hall and take a seat on the chair (Kosho). The priest on the upper stage will perform the ritual. Please remain seated until the guiding priest calls you. <(2) Perform purification ritual> To purify your mind and body, the priest will conduct a purification ritual. The guiding priest will instruct you to "stand up," "bow your head," "straighten up," and "sit down," so please follow the instructions accordingly. <(3) Recite Shinto prayers> The priest will recite Shinto prayers. During this time, please keep your head down. Once the prayer is finished, please raise your head.
