Hannan City, where Boude's Oyster Hut is located, is conveniently situated about 20 minutes by train or 30 minutes by car from Kansai International Airport

Despite its convenient location from Kansai International Airport, it offers a rich natural environment to enjoy various activities.

Experience sorting and shucking oysters!

Before tasting the fresh oysters, since we have come all the way to the fishing port, let's try experiencing the work of the fishermen.

Savor the fresh oysters

After the activity, enjoy succulent steamed and fried oysters!

You can create a one-of-a-kind oyster shell artwork!

Utilize oyster shells, which are typically thrown away, to create small plates and sake cups in an art workshop. Make your very own original piece.

Schedule

  • Please come directly to Ryoushi Sendo, Boude's Oyster Hut

    Please present the My Page reservation screen at reception.

  • Introducing the efforts of Ryoushi Sendo (10 minutes)

    We'll provide oyster trivia and lectures.

  • Sort and shuck oysters (45 min.)

    An expert will provide guidance on how to handle cultivated oysters freshly harvested from the sea.

  • Tasting (20 minutes)

    Sample freshly caught oysters in a prime fishing port location.

  • Oyster shell art workshop (60 min.)

    Create small dishes or sake cups using oyster shells. Feel free to finish them with your own designs.

• Please note that the number and size of oysters per bushel may vary depending on weather and sea conditions during growth.
• The meeting and activity location is Nishitottori Port (Tottori, Hannan City). Free parking is provided. *Large buses may not fit due to narrow entryways.
