The overall price typically increases when you add hair styling to your kimono rental. However, at Momoka, the kimono rental package includes kimono dressing and hair styling (with flower accessories), so you don't need to worry about extra charges, even if it's your first time renting a kimono!

We offer a wide range of patterns, including retro, cute, vintage, modern, and Taisho-roman styles to suit your aesthetic. Kimonos can be made out of anything from casual wool to special silk. Transform into a Kimono beauty!

Momoka Kimono is situated in the heart of Gion, Kyoto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The store's convenient location allows visitors to easily stop by while sightseeing, as Gion Minami, Yasaka Shrine, Kodaiji Temple, Kiyomizu Temple, Maruyama Park, Kenninji Temple, Chion-in Temple, and other attractions are all within walking distance. Please present the reservation screen of My Page at the reception desk at Momoka Kimono Rental.
We will take care of your luggage and help you select your kimono and accessories.
Please select your preferred kimono and accessories from the extensive collection of authentic Japanese kimonos by the renowned Kyoto brand. If you're new to wearing kimonos, a member of staff will be happy to assist you in choosing the perfect ensemble. We offer complimentary storage for your personal items, excluding valuables, allowing you to enjoy a leisurely stroll without the burden of carrying your belongings.
Dressing and hair arrangement by experienced kimono dressers
You will be dressed by a team of experts in the most practical way so that you can leave as soon as possible. You can be confident that we will dress you tightly to prevent your kimono from losing its shape. We offer a selection of hairstyles from the catalog, but we would also be grateful if you could show us a picture of the type of hair you are looking for. If you're unsure about the type of hairstyle you want, experts will be pleased to recommend some suggestions.
Enjoy strolling around Kyoto
If you have not decided where to go, a member of staff will be happy to recommend nearby tourist attractions for you. Please feel free to ask the staff for recommendations.
Welcome back
After you have enjoyed exploring Kyoto, please return to the store and change from your kimono to the clothes you came in. Kimonos can be returned by 5:00 PM. Please note that if you wish to return the kimono the next day, the deposit (JPY 10,000) plus rental fee (JPY1,100) will be charged. *Deposit will be refunded when you return the kimono.

Notes
• We strictly refuse to dress you if you are pregnant. We do not accept any responsibility for any problems that may occur as a result of concealing a pregnancy. Any physical discomfort you experience as a result of hiding your pregnancy is not our responsibility.
•If you are more than 10 minute late for your reservation, priority will be given to guests who arrive on time. Please make sure to arrive on time. (If you are going to be late, please contact WAmazing customer support in advance by e-mail.)
•If you are more than 20 minutes late for your reservation, your reservation will be cancelled.
•Please note that no refunds will be made if you are late for your reservation or if you cancel the next day or later.
•Please be sure to make a reservation for the number of people you would like to get dressed in kimono. (Accompanying guests may wait in the store.)
•If the kimono or accessories (bags, etc.) are stained or damaged upon return, you will be charged a minimum of JPY 3,000 per 20㎠ stains and JPY 10,000 for damage. We recommend that you subscribe to the JPY 550 "Anshin Pack" (insurance) when booking. (Payment can be made on-site.)
• We will keep your luggage free of charge, but please take care of your valuables yourself. We are not responsible for any loss (including theft), damage, water leakage, etc.
•Adult kimono is available only for those whose hip size is 130cm or less.
• Dressing time usually takes 45 to 60 minutes. Please follow our staff's instructions so that the dressing goes smoothly.
•If you would like to upgrade your hairstyle, please select from the options for an additional fee. We can also upgrade your hair after consultation on-site. (In such cases, payment will be made on-site.)
•The images may include optional items other than those included in the price.
[About returning the kimono]
•Please return the kimono by 5:00 PM on the same day.
-Please be sure to return the kimono by the time specified. If you return the kimono the next day, a deposit of JPY 10,000 and a rental fee of JPY 1,100 will be charged. If you do not return the kimono by the end of the next day, the deposit will not be refunded.
In addition, if you do not return the kimono within our business hours without notice, we will close without waiting for you to return them. In the event that a kimono is returned the following day without prior notice, a late fee equal to the amount of the dressing fee will be charged.
[About cancellation]
*Please note that the event may be canceled after the reservation is made due to inclement weather like typhoons. In such cases, WAmazing Play customer support will contact you by e-mail after 2:00 PM the day before.
