Activity
Come empty-handed! Wear your handmade tsumami kanzashi (hairpin or hairclip) and enjoy the city of Osaka in a kimono!
No preparation is required to enjoy this traditional Japanese craft workshop and kimono experience. In tsumami zaiku, you can make a "tsumami zaiku hairpin" or a "hair clip". You can make either a tsumami kanzashi hairpin or hair clip.
Easy even for beginners! Veteran instructors will give you detailed instructions.
Enjoy the traditional Japanese handicraft of tsumami craftwork using materials of the colors and designs of your choice. You are free to take home the tsumami piece you have made as a souvenir.
Enjoy the city of Osaka in a kimono! Enjoy taking photos and strolling around the city of Osaka.
You will have 2 hours of free time to explore famous areas of Osaka, such as the Shinsekai and Tsutenkaku Tower area.
Schedule
Reception & Lecture *Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception.
We will explain about tsumami craftwork, hand out written instructions on how to make it, and give you a brief lecture.
Tsumami crafting
You can choose your favorite color and design (kanzashi or hair clip), and create a tsumami flower. You will receive carful instruction so that it is easy to understand, even if it is your first time.
Kimono selection and dressing
Please choose your favorite kimono and obi (belt). We have a wide variety of kimonos available. After you choose, we will help you put on the kimono and arrange your hair beautifully.
Walk around the neighborhood (about 2 hours)
Enjoy taking photos with your own Tsumami crafts. Afterward, go for a stroll around the nearby Shinsekai and Tsutenkaku Tower area.
Kimono return and end of the activity
You will have 2 hours of free time. When the time is up, please return the kimono set.
You can then take your tsumami piece home as a souvenir.
