Follow the footsteps of Hiroshima before, during and post-war reconstruction

Throughout this tour, you will not only get a simple explanation of the monuments but would also gain valuable information about the tour through a story setting.

Tour the surrounding areas of hiroshima and its original landscape

Using an electric bicycle, enjoy the sceneries traveling through local roads, small roads by the river and heighten your 5 senses whilst doing so.

Schedule

  • Gather at the Hiroshima Peace Park Rest House ～Introductions～ Opening session～

    At the designated location, Rendevous with the guide and do a small introduction, before the departure we will take a commemorative photo in front of the recommended spot and will do a quick introductory talk.

  • An introduction of the Hiroshima Peace Park

    Tour through the most important parts within the Peace Park. Learn the thoughts and feelings that went into building this from a local perspective.

  • Travel to Hiroshima's original landscape using the electric bikes.

    Once reduced to rubble by the atomic bomb 75 years ago, explore the city of Hiroshima and its rebuilt city streets.

  • Visit the remaining radiation points located in the city, and learn the devastation that war can bring.

    At this stage, you will be introduced to the still remnant grounds affected by the atomic bomb and will be told a story from the incident.

  • Visit a tree that survived the atomic bomb, a perfect example of the fleeting nature of peace. After, return to the Resthouse and disband

    Visit a special location inaccessible in daily life, filled with emotion, that teaches us important life messages.
