  • Zuiho-in, a sub-temple of Daitokuji Temple

    Sutra copying and zazen meditation experience with a monk, along with conversation / tea and Japanese sweets in the tea room Heisei Taian / free time to explore the garden

  • Visit Matsui Sake Brewery for a sake-tasting experience, or we'll guide you to the Chukyo area's brewery café Nota (featuring a dorayaki (red bean pancake) plate & Japanese black tea)

    We will guide you to whichever option you prefer.

  • After checking into the traditional townhouse, we will guide you to the dinner venue

    Enjoy your meal at a Michelin one-star restaurant. After dinner, if you wish, we can also guide you to a popular local authentic bar (payment to be settled separately on-site)

  • [Day 2] Check-out at 11:00 AM

    For breakfast, we will guide you to a famous local bakery. In the afternoon, we can also arrange a visit to Daitokuji Temple or Hakuryuen Garden, depending on your preference.

[Regarding the Sites We Will Visit]
• Daitokuji Temple: Founded in 1315, it has strong connections to the tea culture associated with Sen no Rikyū and has influenced Japanese culture. It contains many structures and paintings designated as national treasures and important cultural properties.
• Zuiho-in, a sub-temple of Daitoku-ji Temple: This is the family temple of Ōtomo Sōrin, a warlord from the Bungo province during the Sengoku period.
• Tai-an: Located in Myoki-an, Yamazaki, Kyoto, this is the oldest tea room in Japan, believed to have been created by Sen no Rikyū, and is designated as a national treasure.
• Hakuryuen
