At Jyujiro Hirafuku Tea Room, enjoy traditional Japanese sweets while taking in the stunning view of the surrounding countryside. You'll also visit Nipponia Hirafuku Post Town, a traditional inn created by renovating the main building of the former Kimura Sake Brewery. (Please note that depending on the reservation status, the visit may be limited to viewing the exterior only.)

Admire the riverside scenery

Along the river, you can see a group of earthen storehouses that have remained unchanged since the Edo period (1603-1868).

Visit the site of Miyamoto Musashi's first duel

It's said that when swordsman Musashi was 13 years old, he challenged Arima Kihei, a master of the Shinto-ryu style, to his first duel and defeated him with a single stroke.

Receive a Goshiun stamp at Komyoji Temple

Countless owls are enshrined at Komyoji Temple, also known as the "Owl Temple." Many come to pay their respects and witness the diverse depictions of these owls, which are believed to bestow good fortune.
