An English interpreter will be provided so you can enjoy the experience with peace of mind.

You can take your completed work home with you

You can take home the pottery you repaired during the Kintsugi workshop as a treasured keepsake; simply place it in the gift box.


Schedule

  • 10:00am/1:30pm: Arrival procedures *Your guide will be waiting with a signboard

    Meet your guide at Kinosaki Onsen Station and transfer to the workshop venue. Please show the reservation page from your My Page upon arrival.

  • 10:05am/1:35pm: Start the Kintsugi experience

    Learn the traditional Japanese art of Kintsugi. You will select a piece of pottery and repair it using gold lacquer. While following instructions on the screen, an interpreter guide will be there to assist you.

  • 10:45am/2:15pm: Breaktime

    Enjoy a cup of tea while you wait for the gold lacquer to dry.

  • 11:15am/2:30pm: Back to the experience

    Complete the Kintsugi process by finishing the dried pottery.

  • 12:00pm/3:30pm: End of the experience

    You can take home the finished product!
