Activity

On-site kimono dressing service

The service comes directly to your hotel or preferred location to assist with kimono dressing. There's no need to visit a kimono shop, saving travel time and allowing for a more efficient trip. Plus, the kimono is brought to you, making it an all-inclusive experience.

Authentic hair styling service available (optional)

The service provides professional hairstyling with the use of hair straighteners and curling irons, available as an optional on-site service.

  • The service will come to your hotel or preferred location

    The service will bring a selection of kimono designs on the day. You can choose your preferred design, and assistance with dressing will be provided.

  • Hair styling (optional)

    As an option, authentic hairstyling using hair straighteners and curling irons is also available.

  • Head out and enjoy the day

    Once you're ready, head out and enjoy a leisurely stroll or a meal.

  • Return the kimono

    Please return the kimono by the following day at a nearby convenience store or at the front desk of your accommodation (via shipping).

Recently, more customers have made mistakes with their reservation date and time. Please double-check your reservation before your visit. You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours of your application, indicating whether your reservation has been accepted. Your reservation will be confirmed once you receive the "reservation accepted" email. *Please note that if you visit before receiving this confirmation, the service will not be able to accommodate you.

• Please note that any price difference from upgrading your kimono will be paid on-site on the day of the experience.
• Any price difference for additional paid options will also need to be paid on-site.
• The experience may be canceled due to unavoidable circumstances, but there will be no refund for travel expenses to the site.
*Refunds are only available if public transportation is suspended.
• In case of cancellation, the service will contact your emergency contact by 8:00 PM the day before.

About Kimono Rental:
• To enhance your kimono experience, optional paid hairstyling and kimono upgrades are available.
• Customers who are 185cm or taller and have a shoe size of 28cm or larger must apply in advance. After clicking the "Make a Reservation" button, please enter the additional information in the space provided.

Kimono Return Policy:
• Please return the kimono in the provided designated bag.
*The kimono must be returned by the following day. Late returns will incur additional charges.
*A return slip is included with your rental kimono.
*Please return the kimono at a nearby convenience store or your accommodation (via Yamato Transport Service).
*There is no need to wash the rented items.
