Take the ropeway and lift to reach the Main Keep of Matsuyama Castle. Enjoy the view from the Matsuyama Castle Keep, located at an elevation of 132 meters, which was awarded one star in the Michelin Green Guide Japan.
Visit the museum themed on Ryotaro Shiba's novel "Clouds Above the Hill" (Saka no Ue no Kumo)
The museum was designed by the acclaimed architect Tadao Ando, winner of the Pritzker Prize—known as the Nobel Prize of architecture. The museum retraces the footsteps of the three main characters in the novel through its displays of materials relating to the Meiji period (1868-1912).
