Authentic Sumo Show & Sumo Experience
Experience an authentic sumo show supervised by former ozeki Konishiki, the first foreign-born sumo wrestler to reach the prestigious ozeki rank (wrestler of the second-highest rank). See how sumo wrestlers train and perform in the ring—an experience typically hidden from view. Watch live demonstrations of winning techniques, rules, and fouls. Afterward, enjoy a serious best-of-three match, a photo session, and and the chance to step into the ring yourself and challenge a sumo wrestler!
Recommended: Sumo Stable Meal of Chanko-nabe hot pot for two *Optional
Enjoy a sumo stable's traditional chanko-nabe hot pot, carefully prepared to bring out the full flavor of its ingredients. The recipe closely follows the original taste of the former Takasago stable, where sumo wrestlers once ate. Chicken, daikon radish, carrots, and onions are simmered in advance, ensuring the dish is ready to be served as soon as the soup comes to a boil.
Kimono Experience
You can wear a haori kimono coat free of charge. For yukata and kimono dressing, it's available for a fee of JPY 2,000 or more. (*If you just want to try on the kimono, there's no charge.) The kimono/yukata and obi (belt) you try on are also available for purchase, starting from JPY 2,000.
Koni-chan (Konishiki) Corner
Visitors can also explore the Koni-chan Corner, featuring former ozeki Konishiki’s favorite items from his active career, including his crested hakama (formal divided skirt,) geta (wooden clogs), and traditional zabuton cushion. You can even touch these exhibits and get a close-up view of these valuable items.

Admission from 12:00 PM/5:00 PM: Kimono Experience (meal is optional)
The restaurant entrance serves as the reception. Show the reservation page from your My Page upon arrival. *Please arrive 30 minutes before the show. You can enjoy a meal and visit each booth while wearing a haori kimono provided at the restaurant. You’re also welcome to take photos in the ring.
From 1:00 PM/6:00 PM: Sumo show supervised by former ozeki Konishiki
Enjoy a sumo show supervised by former ozeki Konishiki. *If you arrive after the show has started, the curtains will be closed. Please enter through the front of the torii gate, where the staff will guide you.
From 1:40 PM/6:40 PM: Photo Session and Sumo Experience
Step into the sumo ring with a former sumo wrestler for a memorable photo. The photo will be taken with your smartphone, making it a keepsake you'll never forget. You can also create a custom label (JPY 1,000) with your photo to attach to a drink of your choice. Afterward, the main event—the Sumo Experience—begins. Wearing a sumo suit or mawashi (loincloth), participants can take part in a match with a former sumo wrestler. Feel the raw power of sumo wrestling and get a real sense of the strength involved. After the experience, you can take photos with the sumo wrestlers while still wearing your sumo suit or mawashi. *This service is available only to those who request it. *While efforts will be made to accommodate as many participants as possible, a lottery may be held if the number of applicants exceeds capacity. Please note that staff may refuse participation for other reasons, such as intoxication.

• Preschoolers are allowed to experience the show if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Children 0-6 years old are free of charge if they are seated in A or B seats.
• The show will be held at the scheduled time even if you are late for the start of the show.
• We will take great care during the Sumo Experience. However, since participants engage in physical activity, there is a possibility of injury. Therefore, please refrain from participating if you are feeling unwell, injured, intoxicated, or pregnant. The staff reserves the right to refuse participation at their discretion on the day of the event.
Cancellation Policy:
• The experience may be canceled for safety reasons due to bad weather, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances. In that case, WAmazing Play's customer support or the organizer will contact the emergency contact provided. Please make sure to check your email and phone for updates on the day of the event. (Notifications are typically sent after 3:00 PM on the day before the event.)
