Learn about Japanese cuisine under the Japan Food Studies College, the food studies college in Japan with instruction in English.
Japan Food Studies College is an international food studies institute affiliated with Gustolab, Common Ground, and Zendine.
Experience Japanese culture at the Izumisano Arai Residence, a nationally registered tangible cultural property and the location for the Japan Food Studies College Izumisano campus.
Embrace local culture in a space representing Osaka back in its heyday, a space featuring luxurious buildings, gardens, furnishings, and tableware.
Savor the flavors of seasonal delicacies featuring ingredients from both the sea and the mountains in Izumisano, a representative area of Osaka cuisine and the home of Kansai International Airport.
Enjoy a hands-on lesson in making local Sanomae cuisine using fresh seafood straight from the boat at Izumisano Fishing Port and seasonal vegetables harvested in Izumisano's fields.
Immerse yourself in the history and culture of Osaka cuisine and Japanese dining etiquette.

⑥ Practical Japanese Cooking 3: Japanese-style Western Cuisine2:00pm: End of experience
Cleaning and a Q&A session will begin after the experience ends.
