Access a special area usually closed to the public
"Shooting Star Hill" is off-limits to the public, making it a premium stargazing spot that is exclusively available to tour participants.

Schedule
Arrival procedures (*Please arrive 1 hour before the tour starts)
Upon arrival at the meeting point, please show the reservation page from your My Page. Afterward, you will be guided to your seat.
Tour start
Once all guests are seated, the surrounding lights will be turned off, and the experience will begin.
Explanation by the stargazing guide (approx. 30 minutes)
Your stargazing guide will point out the stars of the Yaeyama night sky with a laser pointer.
Live performance of island songs on the sanshin, Okinawan traditional three-stringed instrument (approx. 20 minutes)
Live sanshin music under the starry sky. Enjoy 3 to 4 island songs about the stars and moon, including original compositions you can only hear here.
End of experience
After the sanshin performance, the guide will give a final briefing to end the tour. Those with extra time can enjoy telescope viewing afterward.

The Shooting Star Hill stargazing tour includes insurance, so you can take part with complete peace of mind. We're insured through a comprehensive plan provided by the Japan Ecotourism Association, ensuring a safe and secure experience for all participants.

*Seats are limited, and auxiliary seats may be used during busy times.
*For the return trip, passengers will be taken back to their boarding location. If you’d like to get off at a different stop, a fee of ¥500 per person applies (payable on site).
