Naniwa Sake Brewery Tour & Sake Tasting Experience - Osaka

We had thought it's just a sake tasting tour. Not expecting to be brought through the whole brewing process and visiting different part of the brewery. Made our appreciation for sake so much more. The man who brought us around is very passionate and even played some music on some traditional musical instrument for us. Definitely will recommend. Only thing, location is slightly out of the way, about an hr from city center. But it makes sense as it is a huge place and they need peace to make good quality sake.

This was a fantastic experience! It was a true experience of the Japanese culture. We were coming from Osaka and slightly worried about the travel time to the brewery, but it was so worth every second! It’s also really cool to see the country side and the train was very easy to navigate. We got our tour from the owner, it’s been in his family for 10 generations! He was so kind and quick to use Google translate if he couldn’t understand our question. The sake was delicious too! If you’re looking for a true Japanese experience, book this! We had so much fun!

It was a precious experience. I happened to meet WAmazing staff, city government staff, and winery staff who were developing new tourism products. They also invited us to test the experience and give our thoughts. Finally, the president professionally guided the big house and sake production. The process and such a great experience in such an old winery building are worth a try. The itinerary can be combined with Izumisano Fishermen's Cooperative Aozora Market and Rinku Castle outlet, so you won't feel like you have made a special trip to go far.
