Experienced instructors will guide you step-by-step, making it ideal for beginners! Elementary school children (third grade and up) are welcome, making it a perfect opportunity for your child's first crafting experience! The experience takes about two hours, the perfect time for making crafts.

You can choose to participate at your preferred time, either 11:30am or 1:35pm.

The weekday sessions start in the evening, making it easy to join after sightseeing, school or work.

How to get started:
1. Decide on the shape of your cherry blossom design.
2. Transfer the shape onto a 1.4mm thick, 10cm square tin plate.
3. Use a cutting tool to carefully cut along the lines of the design.
4. Sand the edges to smooth them out and prepare for shaping.
5. Place the tin plate on a hollowed-out base and strike it with a hammer to shape it. As the pewter hardens, your creation will take form, and it's finished!

About the activity:
• Forging is a traditional metalworking technique that shapes metal through hammering. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to see a variety of metals and tools and experience the craftsmanship up close.
• Since tin is a heat-conducting material, cold food stays cool longer, making it perfect for serving ice cream when given some depth.
• We can craft small items like plates, bean bags, chopstick rests, and more, as long as they fit within a 10cm square.
• You can take home the small plate you create on the day of the event.

Notes:
• If you're running late, please contact the organizer. If you are more than 30 minutes late, you may not be able to participate.
• The activity is available to elementary school students in third grade and above, but parents/guardians must handle pick-up and drop-off. Please note that parents/guardians are not allowed to join the activity, so they will need to wait elsewhere.
• Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty or bring an apron, as there may be some metal powder.
• If you'd like to make a reservation in English, please fill in the additional information after clicking the "Make a Reservation" button.
