Activity

Start with a leisurely noon♪

Relax in the morning! Go somewhere different in the morning, and also participate in this course.

Get up close and personal with mangroves!

You can enjoy the subtropical atmosphere of the Nakama River as it flows through a mangrove forest.

A water buffalo cart takes you through the mud flats to Yubu Island, amidst scenery familiar from posters and calendars.

Subtropical flowers and butterflies are highlights of the Yubu Island Botanical Garden.

Schedule

  • Meet at 12:40

    Please come to the Ishigaki Island Ritoh Terminal Anei Kanko reception desk. Please show your My Page reservation screen at reception. At that time, please also fill out the participation agreement.

  • Depart from Ishigaki Island Port at 13:00

    Arrive at Ohara Port in about 45 minutes

  • The bus driver will pick you up at the port and take you to the Nakama River boat boarding area.

    Nakama River mangrove cruise (approx. 65 minutes)

  • The bus driver will meet you at the boat dock. Move toward Yubu Island.

    15 minutes by water buffalo cart from Iriomote to the tidal flats and visit Yubu Island Botanical Garden

  • The bus driver will pick you up at the Iriomote Island buffalo cart terminal. Reach Ohara Port in about 25 minutes by bus.

    Depart from Ohara Port at 17:10, about 45 minutes by boat. Arrive at Ishigaki Island Port around 17:55
