The single-seater boat, "Packraft," that everyone is talking about is easy to operate!
Lighter than canoes and rafting boats, a packraft is safe and easy to control, even for beginners and children. A guide will accompany you and give you a lecture on how to get on and off the boat and how to paddle, so please feel free to join us!

Lake Shima has been attracting attention in recent years for its beauty. The colors change every day, and the bright blue of Shima Lake is a picture-perfect sight!

Meeting・Reception
Please change your clothes, use the restroom, and arrive 5 minutes before the start time! Please present your reservation screen on My Page when you come to reception.
Safety training
Lectures on how to paddle a packraft, hazards, and course descriptions will be given. No problem if you're a first timer! We will teach you in detail.
Tour Start
First let’s paddle! You don't have to be good at it! Just have fun!
Water Strolling
Enjoy a leisurely paddle on the lake while listening to explanations about nature and the history of Shima. We will stroll on the water for 1.5 to 2 hours with a break.
After Talk & Dismissal
We will check for any injuries, look at photos from the tour, and then disband.

Shima Lake user parking lot (parking lot behind Nakanojo Gymnasium) *Please be careful not to mistake this lot for Okushima Lake.

Nearest Station：Train: Take the Kanetsu Kotsu Bus bound for "Shima Onsen”/8:25am, 12:02pm from Nakanojocho on the JR Azuma Line, and get off at "Shima Ko".
Directions to Nearest Station：Car: Please park in the parking lot behind the Nakanojo Gymnasium (Shima Lake user parking lot). The parking lot is located behind the building (on the opposite side of the grounds).
Destination by Taxi：Shima Lake users parking lot (parking lot in the Nakanojo gymnasium)
Things guests need to prepare on the day of the activity (clothes, belongings, etc.)
Required: Sandals or footwear that can get wet, a raincoat or warm clothes *We will go even if it rains.
Drink: Approx. 0.5L of your favorite drink, Food: Snacks if you want to enjoy them on the lake, Other good things to have: Sun protection (sunglasses, towel, hat, gloves, etc.) *The weather is constantly changing, so be prepared.
[Clothing] Quick-drying clothes suitable for exercise (no cotton), windproof/warm clothes, shoes/sandals that can get wet, raincoat* Due to the nature of the tour, you may get a little wet or dirty. No fancy clothes please!

Please note that the tour may be cancelled after the reservation is made due to inclement weather. In such a case, the tour operator will contact the emergency contact by 5:00 p.m. the day before the tour.

There is a restroom at the meeting place, but there is no building where you can change your clothes.
We will provide a simple tent (for one person).
We recommend that you change your clothes to some extent before coming to the meeting place.
