Activity
Walk on ice on a secret lake surrounded by Hokkaido's nature!
Lake Okotanpe is one of Hokkaido's 3 biggest mysterious lakes. Wear snowshoes and walk along the snow trail to Lake Okotanpe, which takes about an hour. Lie down in the middle of the lake and experience Hokkaido's nature!
Specialized equipment is available for free!
Specialized equipment such as snowshoes/poles can be rented free of charge.
Small group tours with supportive guides
Tours are in small groups, perfect for first-time snowshoers, and professional guides certified by the Japan Mountain Guides Association will provide support and lectures.
Schedule
Meeting / Reception
Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception.
Transfer to the trailhead
After registration at the meeting place, transfer via guided vehicle to the trailhead. (60 minutes)
Preparation for entering the mountain
Light lecture/preparation before entering the mountain.
Start snowshoeing
After about an hour, we arrive at our destination, the secret Lake Okotanpe. We will take a walk on the frozen lake. (240 minutes)
End of tour / Dismissal
After descending, we will drop you off at Sapporo Station. (60 minutes)

[Cancellation of tour]
・The tour may be cancelled after the reservation is made due to bad weather or other reasons. In such a case, WAmazing Play's customer support will email your emergency contact after 2:00 p.m. two days prior to the tour.
