Activity

You can take a ride on a tarai-bune (tub-turned boat) operated by a boatman using only one rod, one of Ogaki's famous sightseeing activities.

We will provide a masu-making and branding experience in collaboration with a masu manufacturer in Ogaki City, which has the highest production volume of masu cups in Japan.

You can make your handmade masu cup and take it home as a souvenir.

Visitors can drink locally brewed sake from Ogaki on a tub-turned boat and taste it with a wooden masu that smells of Japanese cypress wood thanks to a partnership with a local sake brewery.

Schedule

  • Meet at the Basho's Oku no Hosomichi Haiku Journey Museum and relocate to Ohashi Ryoki

    Please present the My Page reservation screen at reception.

  • Masu-making + branding experience (55 min.)

  • Move to the tub-boat river plaza

  • Sake tasting experience on a tub-boat (20 min)

  • Once the activity is finished, you are dismissed
