Activity

You can see a different side of the Toyosu Market that you might not normally be able to see.

In the second half of the tour, you will have free time in the shopping area. Check out unique souvenirs in the market! (extra charge)

After taking a water taxi to see the harbor area, the tour will pass the remnants of Tsukiji Market before ascending the Sumida River for a closer look into the depths of Edo culture.

Cruise from the Toyosu Gururi Park landing. You can see Tokyo Tower, Rainbow Bridge, and Toyosu Market from the boat as you travel up the Sumida River and pass by the remnants of Tsukiji Market and several historic bridges.

Travel by boat to Yanagibashi Komatsuya, a renowned "tsukudani" shop. It's amazing to see the rows of Yakatabune boats nearby. Shop the timeless homemade flavors that haven't changed since the store was established in 1881. The owner might even share with you a lovely story from the past!

We have arrived at Yanagibashi Komatsuya, a famous tsukudani (salty-sweet condiment) store established 140 years ago, located at the mouth of the Kanda River. A true time machine, as the store looks just as it did back then, but it also has rows of yakatabune lined up along both river banks. The journey will conclude after you've purchased some tsukudani, an Edo-style dish that was a favorite of Japanese author Shotaro Ikenami (JPY 1,000 shopping voucher included).
