Notes

Tsukiji
In Tsukishima, you can enjoy Monjayaki, a dish representative of Tokyo gourmet. In Tsukiji, you can enjoy sushi and seafood bowls made with fresh ingredients wholesaled at the market. The famous Tamagoyaki (egg omelet) is also highly recommended.

Yanaka Ginza
The Yanaka, Nezu, and Sendagi area is an area where you can enjoy strolling around the town, where the nostalgic old downtown atmosphere remains.
There are many places to visit, including Yanaka Ginza, where you can enjoy eating and drinking, retro coffee shops, Nezu Shrine with its magnificent lacquered tiles, popular Taiyaki (fish-shaped pancakes), and bakeries that are the talk of the town. There are cats everywhere too, so it is a must-visit for cat lovers!

Asakusa
Asakusa is a popular downtown area, drawing around thirty million visitors a year. It has Sensoji (the oldest temple in Tokyo), the symbolic Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate), and the Nakamise shopping arcade with about 90 stores. This area is flowing with traditional downtown atmosphere, and in recent years, the number of foreign tourists has been increasing. The area is always crowded with people, giving a festival-like atmosphere.
Visitors can enjoy downtown foods such as tempura and eel, which have been loved by Edo people, as well as sweets around the Nakamise area, such as Ningyo-yaki and Melon Pan (sweet buns).
We also recommend enjoying the retro attractions at Hanayashiki, the oldest amusement park in Japan, which gives vibes from the Showa era (1926-1989)!
*Eating while walking is prohibited in Asakusa Nakamise. Please eat and drink in front of the store where you purchased your food.

Ameyoko Shopping Street
Ameyoko is a shopping street with 400 stores in the 500m distance between Ueno Station and Okachimachi Station. It is said that the name "Ameyoko" comes from the fact that there were many stores selling candy (Ame) when it got its name, and also from the fact that many of them were selling goods purchased second-hand (Yoko-nagashi) by the American military.
