Notes
One of Japan's oldest shopping districts is Nakamise-dori street. The street is busy during the day with tourists purchasing souvenirs, but at night it changes into a mural street with "Asakusa Emaki" murals on the shutters of the shops.
Since 2003, Sensoji Temple has been illuminated to mark the 400th anniversary of the establishment of the Edo administration. A brilliant hue is used to illuminate the five-story pagoda and Sensoji Temple. Please enjoy a moment of peace and silence.
●Tokyo Skytree
Opened in 2012, this new Tokyo landmark is both traditional and cutting-edge. With a height of 634 meters, it is the tallest structure in the world and is so amazing up close that taking pictures of it is challenging!
The two very popular observatories offer expansive views of the entire Kanto region, and in good weather, Mt. Fuji.
At the base of the structure, Tokyo Solamachi, which includes more than 300 shops, restaurants, character shops, gift shops, and other retail establishments, provides a wide range of shopping choices. Don't miss the "Iki" and "Miyabi" lighting styles that express the downtown region at night.
