After enjoying the scenery of Okunoto, passengers can get off at three locations in Wajima City.

This course is perfect for those who plan to stay overnight in Wajima, famous for the Wajima Morning Market, one of the three largest morning markets in Japan.

The tour will depart as long as there is one reservation!

Solo travelers are also welcome.

Special guided tours by monks are available at the Sojiji Soin Temple

    On the designated date, please present the QR code to the staff at the Nishi-Nippon JR Bus Kanazawa Bus Ticket Center in the Transportation Information Center at the East Exit of JR Kanazawa Station and exchange it for a boarding ticket before boarding the bus. /See "Notes" for directions to the Bus Ticket Center. Kanazawa Bus Ticket Center opening hours: 8:00AM-4:30 PM(No staff will be available from 10:30AM-10:50AM and 12:00PM-13:00PM)

  • 9:00AM Depart from Kanazawa Station Kenrokuen Exit (East Exit), Bus Stop No. 4.*Please arrive at least 20 minutes before departure.

    Please present your ticket to the driver at the platform #4 of JR Kanazawa Station and board the bus.

  • Chirihama Nagisa Drivewa (from a car window)/Noto Kongo, Ganmon (free sightseeing, approx. 20 min.)/Noto Futami Iwa (Hatago Iwa) (from a car window)/ Sojiji Soin Temple (visit and free lunch at Soujiji's Shopping Street approx. 80 min.)

    Chirihama Nagisa Driveway is the only sandy beach road in Japan that permits vehicles and bicycles to travel along its 8 kilometers of sandy road. *If the road is blocked, we will stop at the Chirihama Rest House.
    Ganmon Gate is a representative sightseeing spot on the Noto Kongo Coast, a scenic spot on the Noto Peninsula created by the rough waves of the Sea of Japan.The steep cliffs and wild waves are the most recognizable views of Noto Kongo, and old pine trees cover a large portion of the area above the Ganmon gate.
    Hatago Iwa is a pair of sacred rocks that served as the inspiration for the myth of the deity of weaving. It is one of the most emblematic oddly shaped rocks in Noto Kongo.
    Sojiji Soin Temple is an ancient temple of the Japanese Soto sect that is revered as a major sacred site of the Soto sect of Buddhism. At the Sojiji Soin Temple, monks provide unique guided tours.

  • World Agricultural Heritage Shiroyone Senmaida <about 15 min> / Roadside Station, Okunoto Salt Farm Village <about 30 min>

    Shiroyone Senmaida have been passed down for 380 years in the Satoyama and Satoumi area of Noto, which is registered as a World Agricultural Heritage site. Facing the Sea of Japan, the spectacular view of 1004 small irregular rice paddies overlapping each other and stretching all the way to the coast is designated as one of the 100 best terraced rice paddies in Japan. It is a national place of scenic beauty, and is a one of the most famous tourist spots in Okunoto.
    There is a comprehensive salt museum built to convey the tradition of salt production using the Agehama method, which has been handed down in the Noto region for more than 400 years. The museum displays easy-to-understand exhibits on the tools used in the Agehama salt fields, the history and culture of salt production, and salt cultures from around the world.
