Make lasting memories on a private beach wearing the traditional Ryusou, also known as Uchinā sugai, in the Ryukyuan language.

Ryusou= Traditional costumes of the Ryukyu Kingdom

The Ryusou is also a traditional local costume in present-day Okinawa. During the experience, visitors can don these outfits and capture stunning photos at scenic beaches and other locations.

Enjoy the experience without any special preparations

No prior preparation is necessary. As the dressing is done over your clothes, the experience is relatively quick and can be easily enjoyed during your trip.

Our staff handles all the dressing, allowing customers to take their own pictures. This makes it a highly cost-effective way to experience Ryusou.

What is the Nibushiki?

Nibushiki, also known as the two-piece style, is a type of Ryusou that comprises an upper garment and a lower garment. It is effortless to wear and does not require much time to dress.

  • Reception

    Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception desk.

  • Costume selection

    Select a kimono to wear.

  • Dressing

    The process is simple as the kimono is worn over your existing clothes.

  • Take photos

    Enjoy a 30-minute self-photography session at the beach in front of our store. Capture as many pictures as you desire with your phone or camera.

  • Change clothes

    The experience ends once you change back into your own clothes.

Women: Nibushiki (to be worn over clothes), hair ornament, and straw sandals included
Men: [A] long gown, Obi (sash), Hachimaki (headband) or [B] Eisa costume (with straw sandals) *Men may choose either A or B.
