Shimada Suisan is promoting the beauty of oysters to the world in a variety of ways. Not only do they directly sell the oysters they grow, but they also serve fresh oysters in their oyster huts.
In addition, visitors can experience fishing with the prefecture's first oyster fisherman, tour the fishing grounds, and visit Itsukushima Shrine by boat, all of which add to the charm of oysters.
