Itsukushima Shrine, with the original forest of Mount Yayama in the background and the ocean in the foreground, was built by Taira no Kiyomori in the late Heian period (794-1192) at the height of Heian culture, and is registered as a World Heritage site.


Schedule

  • A text message (including a QR code and e-ticket download link) will be sent to your registered email address after your reservation is completed.

    Meet up at 8:40 AM at the bus ticket booth (Transportation Information Center) on the first floor of the Hiroshima Station Shinkansen Exit to read the code and exchange it for a bus ticket.

  • Departure at 8:50 a.m. on the Meipuru Trip, a bus dedicated to regular sightseeing. Enjoy viewing Hiroshima Castle from the bus window.

    Arrive at 9:10 AM: Sightseeing tour of the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park. Then, visit the Peace Memorial Museum.

  • Depart around 10:30 AM Enjoy a "Musubi no Musashi" box lunch in the train.

    View the ruins of the Hiroshima Army Clothing Arsenal from the train window.

  • Departure: 11:25 AM, Hiroshima Port, High Speed Boat, Setouchi Sea Line

    Arrive at 12:00 PM to Miyajima Port. Enjoy a walk around the island (about 2 hours and 50 minutes)

  • Departure: 2:55 PM Miyajima Port JR Nishi-Nihon Miyajima Ferry

    Arrive at 4:30 PM.: Hiroshima Station Shinkansen Exit, End of the activity

[Information]
This course includes lunch and a tour of two World Heritage Sites, the Atomic Bomb Dome, and Miyajima. On the way, there will be a boat ride so that you can enjoy the scenery of the Seto Inland Sea.
The main sightseeing spots are Hiroshima Castle, Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Memorial Park, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, and Miyajima/Itsukushima Shrine.
The buses are equipped with an automatic information system in four languages (Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean). Free Wi-Fi is available on board.

[Precautions]
- Voucher expiration date: Valid only on the day
- Children aged 0-6 can board free of charge. If your child will need a seat, please purchase a child ticket.
- Please read the code at the bus ticket counter (transportation information counter) on the 1st floor of the Hiroshima Station Shinkansen Exit and exchange it for a bus ticket.
The bus will depart when the departure time arrives. Please be careful not to miss the bus.
- The bus guide will inform you of the time and meeting place upon your arrival at the bus stop, as well as on the "Bookmark" given to you when you board the bus.
 If you do not return by the designated time, the bus may depart ahead of you. No refunds will be made.
- Please be sure to fasten your seatbelt while riding the bus.
- In the event of wind, rain, thunderstorms, or other inclement weather that may impede safe operation, we may, at our discretion, suspend or cancel the bus service.
- If the high-speed boat (Setouchi Sea Line) to Miyajima Port is out of service, you will be transferred by bus from Hiroshima City to Miyajimaguchi Port and then by ferry to Miyajima.
- Please note that the fee for Miyajima and Itsukushima Shrine is not included in the tour fee, so please make your own arrangements.
- Please note that the bus may not be able to pick you up at Miyajima Port Exit during busy times or on days when events are being held. In such cases, you will be transferred from Miyajima-guchi Station to Hiroshima Station via the JR Sanyo Line.
- The arrival time shown in the itinerary may be changed due to traffic conditions.
- For those who do not like chicken, we will prepare a different lunch box. Please inform us at the reception desk on the day of the tour if this applies to you.
